New Gin and Cocktail Menu

As of August 2017 we have a fanastic new Gin and Cocktail menu. What better than having 21 gins paired with your favorite Fever Tree Tonics, or for the more adventurous of you why not try our selection of 19 cocktails. Included in our range we have our excellent Prosecco based cocktails. If of course you need to drive for your friends and family, we do have a selection of 10 mocktails to wet your appetite.

KIDS EAT FREE from. 1/8/2017

To help the pennies go a little further over the summer holidays we are introducing Kids Eat Free. The details are.....for every two adults eating main meals entitles one child to eat free from our children's half portion menu on a Sunday only. This offer is for under 10's and only valid on Sunday's. We have a lovely play area outside too to help keep them occupied whilst you relax and enjoy the lovely service and amazing views. You need to book in advance to take advantage of the offer. Hope to see you soon

Flockton Pits and Pubs

It is described in guidebooks as a village `halfway between Huddersfield and Wakefield'.

It has Wakefield postcodes and phone numbers, but is part of the Kirklees Council area and has a cricket club that plays in the Huddersfield Central League.

So people living in Flockton, as well as visitors, might be forgiven for being somewhat confused as to whether they are Huddersfielders or Wakefielders.

There is similar confusion surrounding the identity and origin of settlement of the village.
